Pachai Boomi, an agricultural monthly magazine, is organizing a grand agricultural expo in Tirunelveli on October 18th, 19th, and 20th (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
The event will be held at the Centenary Hall in Palayamkottai from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM each day.
About Pachai Boomi: Launched in 2011 with the goal of promoting sustainable agriculture and the welfare of farmers, Pachai Boomi has been consistently working towards agricultural development. To further this mission, since October 2021, the magazine has organized agricultural expos across Tamil Nadu, benefiting farmers, agricultural businesses, and related industries.
The upcoming expo in Tirunelveli marks the 14th such event, with previous expos successfully held in places like Ottanchathiram, Rajapalayam, Namakkal, Theni, and Pollachi.
What to Expect: The expo will feature a wide array of stalls, including:
- Seeds, saplings, and fertilizer.
- Agricultural machinery like tractors, rotavators, sprayers, and drip irrigation systems.
- Tools such as sickles, hoes, and shovels.
- Government stalls from departments like Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Husbandry, Sericulture, and Dairy Development.
- Stalls by banks that support agricultural activities.
- Livestock feed stalls for goats, cows, and poultry.
- Environmental awareness stalls and those featuring value-added products.
Over a hundred stalls will be set up, connecting farmers with agricultural companies, fostering growth, and innovation in the sector.
